The dream of living in a smart city with 100% renewable energy, without any cars and carbon pollution, is no longer just a dream with the vertical city “The Line” in NEOM, Saudi Arabia.
It was on January 10, 2022 that Mohammed bin Salman, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, announced the plan to build a vertical city with zero carbon pollution, called “Line” in the northwest of this country, in the heart of Saudi Arabia’s Neom urban project; A city that, just like its name, rises in a narrow but high line in the desert-mountainous region of Neom Arabia. Consisting of three main sections, “TROJENA”, “OXEGAN” and “LINE”, this area has presented a new definition of construction and urbanism by bringing together the most creative minds, architects and engineers.
This city is the first major construction project in Saudi Arabia’s Neom business district, which aims to redefine future cities and tackle the world’s environmental challenges, with a budget of 319 billion dollars.
“A leading destination in the production of green hydrogen in the world” is the slogan with which Neom Arabia is introduced. The green hydrogen plant, which will be launched in Neom in 2025, will turn this city into a center for green hydrogen production and innovation. Also, the waste products of energy, water and hydrogen production processes in this region will be used to produce useful products and promote a sustainable economy.

TROJE’NA is a unique destination for adventurers looking for luxury living, adventure, fun and escape from everyday life. In fact, it can be said that Troyjana is a mountain tourism destination built on the principles of ecotourism with the aim of preserving nature and increasing the quality of life. This mountainous destination with an area of 60 square kilometers is located 50 kilometers from the Gulf of Aqaba, and with cold winters below zero degrees and an average annual temperature of 10 degrees cooler than other areas, it is a magical place to travel, live and work.
This destination will be completed in 2026 with an array of sports activities from outdoor skiing to water sports in a man-made fresh water lake and mountain biking and hiking.
