With the approach of the staging of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which is expected to attract hundreds of thousands of visitors and fans, and as part of Qatar Chamber’s concern to highlight and promote Qatar’s economic boom, the Chamber plans to issue a guide to economic and commercial activities in Qatar. The release is a comprehensive guide that covers all economic, industrial, and commercial activities in various sectors to provide a full view of Qatar’s economy and investments climate, he noted.
It provides an explanation the economic sectors in the country and their development through a detailed explanation of each sector. It also explains Qatar’s investment climate, and stimulating investment incentives, in addition to the Qatar Chamber’s role in stimulating investments, developing the private sector, and opening new aspects for Qatari companies to enhance their roles in the economic activity.
The official said that the publication is scheduled to be officially launched in October 2022, a month before the World Cup. It will be issued in the Arabic and English languages and will be distributed to ministries, embassies, diplomatic missions to Qatar, and Qatar’s embassies abroad, as well as to local and international fairs and forums. It will also be published on the Chamber’s website to provide easy access for investors and businessmen.
He further added that the guide highlights Qatar’s attractive investment environment and consolidates its position on the world’s business map as an international business and investment destination, as it covers all commercial and economic activities in the country.
